Daily Dudley - Episode #31 - Metaphor: Spring Snow Storm

Spring snow storms bring heavy, wet snow that reeks havoc on power lines, tree branches, spring flowers and spring gardens.

It’s frustrating, because you think the cold season is over, you don’t want to clean up the debris, shovel snow or lose power for a day.

But if we re-frame this into a good thing we can see use this to our advantage. A chance to clean up the dead weight, a chance to see more clearly once the debris is gone and feel a little less pressure to be perfect so we can focus on the things that matter most again.

Obviously, this is a metaphor for encountering challenges and adversity. Losing big accounts, losing employees or losing a client or two.

You can see it in a fixed mindset or you can see it in a growth mindset. Your choice...
